Dessert Gallery Celebrates its 14th Anniversary in September!

Dessert Diva Sara Brook, chef/owner of the award-winning Dessert Gallery Bakery & Cafe, celebrates 14 years of sweet excess on September 19th. In honor of the occasion, she will debut her Sweet Celebrations Anniversary Cake, a luscious creation comprised of 14 layers of fresh crepes, 14 layers of sliced fresh strawberries and 14 layers of creamy chocolate hazelnut (Nutella!) filling. The dessert will be available at the cafes on the last two weekends of September.
"One thing I've always loved about this business is getting the chance to be part of people's life-cycle celebrations," says Brook. "It means a lot to us that our customers have made Dessert Gallery a part of their special occasions, both big and small...from showers, birthdays, weddings and business accomplishments to simple get-togethers over dessert, coffee and games in the cafe with friends and family!"
In fact, customers often get very sentimental about their desserts and frequently share stories about how a certain Dessert Gallery cake holds such happy memories for them. In honor of all those customers (past, present and future) who associate Dessert Gallery with comfort, tradition and memorable treats, Brook wants her customers to be the focal point of this anniversary celebration!
From now until September 14, 2009, customers are asked share a special story about Dessert Gallery (300 words or less, please) - did you meet your future spouse at Dessert Gallery, did you have your first date over one of our desserts, did you ship a cake to someone special, etc? One lucky winner will be selected and receive a $50 gift card! Submission should be posted on Dessert Gallery's Facebook page or submitted by email to press@dessertgallery.com. (Deadline September 14).
