LOCAL DELIVERY BY COURIER (Houston Metro Area) 

We deliver Monday-Friday and require 24 hours’ notice for delivery.  

The cut-off time for local delivery is noon the prior business day. 

General: 

  • Delivery is available Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am-5pm for orders placed at least 24 hours in advance. Customer must allow for a 2-hour window for delivery since we cannot promise an exact time. 

  • Same-day delivery orders are delivered by DoorDash Drive and subject to the availability of drivers and product. Same-day orders are only available within a 5-mile radius of our café located at 3600 Kirby Dr. and they do not guarantee a specific delivery time. 

  • Delivery price is based on distance with rates starting at $25.00. 

Liability:  

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct and complete. If an incorrect address is provided, DG will attempt to redirect your package if possible. DG is not responsible for delayed or failed delivery if an incorrect address was provided.  

  • If no one is available at the time of delivery, our driver will attempt to leave the delivery with a neighbor if possible, but DG is not responsible for any damages to the product if someone else accepts it. 

  • Any additional charges incurred due to incorrect delivery address or unavailable recipient will be passed on to the customer as a separate charge from the original order. 

  • DG is not responsible for damaged or delayed packages due to construction delays or to severe weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, etc. at the delivery point.

NATIONWIDE SHIPPING  

We guarantee to ship your order on time, but we cannot guarantee arrival times because this is up to the shipping company. We can assist with product and packaging issues, but all shipping issues must be taken up directly with the shipping company.

Your cake will be safely packed with dry ice, a gel pack and a special insulated liner.

Please note - We ship GROUND & 2-DAY packages MONDAY-WEDNESDAY to arrive TUESDAY-FRIDAY (by 5pm to business addresses and by 8pm to residential addresses). 

If you're in hurry, we ship OVERNIGHT packages MONDAY-THURSDAY to arrive TUESDAY-FRIDAY. Please contact customer service at 713.960.4400 for UPS Overnight shipping rates to your destination.

Shipping & Handling:    

  • All temperature-sensitive desserts are shipped overnight in special insulated packaging with dry ice and a gel pack.  

  • Desserts may arrive partially frozen to thawed. Upon receipt, remove the contents and look for the serving instructions sticker on each box to determine whether the item should be refrigerated or stored at room temperature.  

Tracking packages:  

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail and tracking number for your package on the day that your package leaves our premises. To track your package, simply click on the link within the email to follow the package on its journey to your recipient. 

Incorrect addresses:  

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct and complete. If an incorrect address is provided, DG will attempt to redirect your package, if possible.  

  • DG is not responsible for delayed or failed delivery if an incorrect address was provided.  

  • DG is not responsible for delayed or failed delivery if no one is available to sign for the package.

REFUND POLICY 

If you are not completely satisfied with our products, please contact us within two business days of the delivery date to discuss. We will make every effort to correct any issues on our part through replacement of a product or refund. Products that are returned as a result of delivery exceptions are non-refundable.
