LOCAL DELIVERY (Houston Metro Area only)

Delivery within the Houston Metro Area is available using DG drivers or Door Dash contract drivers. When placing an order, you must indicate a time range during which delivery should be made. Delivery will be made within a one-hour window before and after desired time given. Price is based on distance. Rates start at $25.00.

After hours and weekend charges: A $20.00 charge is added to ALL deliveries made weekdays after 5:00pm and on weekends. 

Incorrect addresses: Our drivers deliver to residential and business addresses Mon - Fri. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct. If an incorrect address is provided, DG will attempt to redirect your package, so it is delivered in a timely manner. DG cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed delivery if delivery address is incorrect. Any additional charges incurred due to incorrect delivery address will be passed on to the customer.

If no one is available at the time of delivery, our driver will attempt to leave the delivery with a neighbor. If the driver is unable to deliver the package, the customer will be able to pick-up at Kirby Café during normal business hours, free of charge. 

Liability: DG is not liable for misdirected and/or delayed packages if incomplete or inaccurate address information was provided at the time the order was placed. DG is not responsible for any damages or non-delivery of products if the intended recipient is not available to receive the package. DG is not responsible for damaged or delayed packages due to construction delays or to severe weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, etc. at the delivery point.

Refunds and exchanges:  If you are not completely satisfied with our products, please contact us within two business days of the delivery date to discuss. We will make every effort to correct any issues on our part through replacement of a product or refund. Products that are returned as a result of delivery exceptions are non-refundable.

SHIPPING (Outside of the Houston Metro Area*)

Dessert Gallery ships to all states in the continental U.S. via UPS overnight and, upon leaving DG premises, will arrive between noon and 5pm the following day. Note, UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO's or FPO's. *Please note: desserts shipped to destinations outside of the Houston Metro Area will ship within 48 hours of ordering. 

Shipping charges:  We take special care of our desserts when shipping to friends and family outside of Houston. When your cake arrives, it should look and taste as fabulous and fresh as if you picked it up in person. Cakes are shipped overnight in special insulated packaging with dry ice. 

Shipping dates:  We ship Mon - Thurs to arrive Tues - Fri. We can ship your package on Friday to arrive on Saturday for an additional $25.00 UPS Saturday Fee

Tracking packages: You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail and UPS tracking number for your package on the day that your package leaves our premises. To track your package, simply click on the link within the email to follow the package on its journey to your recipient.

Incorrect addresses: UPS delivers to residential and business addresses Tues - Fri. Packages are shipped next day for delivery between noon and 5:00pm. Please ensure the shipping address is correct. If an incorrect address is provided, Dessert Gallery will work with UPS to redirect the package, so your gift is delivered in a timely manner. Dessert Gallery cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed delivery if shipping address is incorrect. Any additional charges incurred from UPS for incorrect delivery address will be passed on to the customer.

Signatures required at time of delivery: UPS will obtain a signature at the time of delivery; this could be an in-person signature, a signed Attempted Delivery Notice, or a Signature on File at the local service center for the recipient. If no one is available, the driver will automatically attempt delivery the next business day before 5:00pm. After two attempts, the package will be held at the local UPS office until delivery arrangements are made. In most cases the local UPS office will return the package to the sender in 7 business days, unless previous arrangements have been made.
